Change up your salsa routine with this creative recipe for sweet and spicy Roasted Pineapple Salsa. Pair it perfectly with our Gluten Free Sea Salt Crackers!

Instructions:

Lightly brush pineapple pieces with oil, then place on a hot grill.
Cook pineapple slices for about 15 minutes (or until soft and charred), flipping halfway through. Remove and allow to cool to room temperature and chop.
In a large bowl combine the chopped pineapple, red onion, lime juice, cilantro, jalapeno pepper and mix together.
Add salt to taste.
If time permits, allow the salsa to sit at least 15 minutes before serving for the flavors to blend.
Serve with Milton’s Gluten Free Sea Salt Crackers and enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 medium pineapple peeled, cored and sliced into 1/2 inch slices
1 tablespoon canola oil
1/3 cup chopped red onion
1 lime
1/2 cup chopped cilantro leaves
1-2 jalapeno peppers seeds removed, diced (or, if you want to turn up the heat)
Salt to taste
